Youth center Menza pri koritu is a cultural and social venue that offers young people a chance to spend their free time doing something creative and productive, to get involved in voluntary work or just to hang out in a soothing atmosphere.

Furthermore, the center is a place where young bands, theater as well as circus and acrobatic groups get to rehearse and perform openly when ready.

Informal training is an important part of the center’s program as well. Numerous free workshops called CreActivities are focused on gaining skills in various fields, such as computer science, video animation, photography, filming and mixing, sculpturing, circus, shadow theater, graphic arts, etc.

Young people who express themselves through writing can read their works at two monthly events – one promotes poetry (Mlade rime), while the other promotes short prose (Prebranec).

There’s free internet access at the center as well as leaflets containing various information for young people. You can also hang out on the balcony or read a book while having a cup of your favorite tea or coffee.

At the center, we promote principles of active citizenship, therefore feel free to get involved if you believe you can contribute to the program or the venue itself.
