An improv competition with guests from Rapid Fire Theatre (Edmonton, Canada)

Improvisational Theatre of Ljubljana – IGLU maintains and takes good care of their international improv juncture in Ljubljana. Thus, they host the most interesting foreign improvisers every month and together they display scintillating performances in English. This time Juš Milčinski, Vid Sodnik and Peter Frankl will be joined on stage by extremely talented improvisers from Canada: Joleen Ballendine and Jessie McPhee!

Joleen and Jessie come from one of the most famous improvisational theaters in the world – Rapid Fire Theatre from Edmonton, Canada. RFT’s school of improv is based on well crafted stories and carefully chiseled characters who take you on rich, full journeys. Their supersonic quick style does not leave any viewer with a phlegmatic state of mind. That is probably why Edmonton improvisers are one of the most desirable improvisers in the world.

This five-piece group of improvisers will each try to assume two roles – one as actors and the other as directors. Each individual will guide their own story, but the one that the audience likes the most, will be able to bring his story to a fulfilling end.
