The band was formed in St Petersburg, Russia in 1997, playing art-punk with some ethnic sounds. In 2004 band turned acoustic and experimental, using traditional Russian instruments – balalaika and bayan (Russian accordion) in punk/hardcore/metal vibes. New material was defined as “folk-slaughter” and “art-chaos folk”.
