Too Tangled (Belgium)

Too Tangled are an indie-electro-rock duo hailing from Ghent, Belgium. Having recently finished their second album Where The Echoes Die Too Tangled prepare to take their subtly violent, sexy and catchy sound on the road in Europe this September and throughout 2013. Front man Roeland Vandemoortele and leading lady Eva Buytaert formed Too Tangled four years ago, and have since released their debut album The Magic Got Killed to encouraging reviews. Parallels with bands such as The Velvet Underground, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Kills, Nancy Sinatra.

Their second album, sustained by an interesting mix of a ‘jam and bread diet’ and Roeland participating in medical trial experiments for cash to fund the recordings, which were produced by Ian Davenport (whose credits include Radiohead, Band of Skulls & Supergrass). Too Tangled travelled to Ian’s studio in a small village just outside Oxford, UK, where they recorded & mixed their latest album, in March 2012. “Working together with Ian was a great journey, he added a great deal to our sound.” “Where the echoes die” will be released in Germany/Austria/Switzerland on 14 September 2012 via Popup Records (distributed by Cargo).
